From what I understand this sphere of Tabular Prehnite from the Loliondo Region of Tanzania is the only one ever found from this locality. Tabular Prehnite is the rarest growth habit for Prehnite from the Loliondo. To find a bunch of tabular crystals formed together in a sphere is unheard of. Regardless of rarity the individual crystals have incredible detail. The angular terminations are intricate and complex with sharp well defined form. So when you really look this specimen over you begin to appreciate the hidden diversity of geometries both within and on this Prehnite.
Metaphysically speaking Prehnite is the Teaching Stone. It is the healers healing stone and is widely regarded as essential to many healers. There is always something to learn is one lesson it will teach. It opens up the heart and teaches patience, forgiveness & understanding.
