Vintage Beautiful Blue Nightgown Contesa Floaty Size Small?

This is the sort of nightgown that was the housewife's dream. Dried quickly and needed no ironing. The invention of Nylon was here! When we were photographing it we saw some damage under the arms where one of the layers of material has a tear. This could be repaired easily and not really seen, we have reflected this in the price. I still think it is a wonderful vintage piece. I love the colour that gorgeous blue, then the white lace and the button detail. It is a little 'babydoll' however I don't want to commit to that term because it is longer than a babydoll shape and style. This is what I am seeing online in Los Angeles where the girls are wearing these as dresses, getting them from Crossroads, the Rose Bowl Flea Market and spending over hundred dollars! Don't worry I am going do do much better than that. I think Shelagh wore something like this in an episode of Call The Midwife. There are a couple of youtubers that we watch that live their lives in the 50s or the 60s and they just would snap this up. (Also in America) I would say this is a size small-medium there is no label this is my estimation. This would be a super comfortable night gown and a great holiday dress too. Lightweight for your airport travel luggage allowances. Thank You.
