Vintage large hardback story book for children. 1980 "Brimax Books Ltd" edition. Full of traditional and reworkings of various folk and fairytales from around the world and through the centuries, brought to life with glorious magical illustrations by Eric Kincaid. Some remind me of Terry Gilliam's "Time Bandits" in their essence; especially the giant! Some marks along the edges of the front/back pages where they're glued to the cover (some glue marks on top & slight wear marks from storage/pressure with the cover pushing against the paper on top of it), some faint scuffs to the cover, a little wear around the spine/edges, a very slight curve of the cover from storage/pressure and there's been some tension (from usage) where the pages are joined to the book so the holes are slightly more visually prominent on the front & back pages.
