A lovely old vintage Scottish engraved Thistle design brooch. Has a stamp on the back, which I think reads 'EPNS' - I think this stands for electro plated nickel silver. Therefore I think the brooch has a silver plate metal. Measures just under 4.5 cm diameter In good vintage condition, as you can see, there is some tarnishing in places, but I don't think this detracts from the brooch and some wear to be expected with age.
