4 piece Mother of Pearl vanity sewing set

Two sewing stilettos or awls: These pointed tools were used in needlework for piercing holes in fabric, leather or for separating threads. A perfume corkscrew: This small corkscrew would have been used for opening bottles, such as perfume or medicine bottles. A button hook: This tool, with its distinctive hook shape, was used for fastening small, difficult-to-reach buttons on clothing or boots, especially common with gloves and high-top boots. The handles of these tools are carved from mother-of-pearl, a common material for decorative handles in antique vanity and sewing sets, and the working parts are made of steel.
