Black Höck Münchener Dirndl Dress Floral Embroidery Vintage 80's German Traditional Size 44/14-16

L081 For your consideration, a lovely Höck Münchener Dirndl dress. Traditional German Dirndl dress. Very high quality from a genuine German Dirndl dressmaker. Thick, sturdy fabric. Vintage 1980's, possibly earlier. Black cotton with front zip and white and blue gingham bodice lining. Floral four colour embroidery around skirt. Colour is a true black in person, which the photos do not capture fully. A wonderful piece of traditional dress, or something unusual to add to your wardrobe. The item is in very good condition for its age. It seems to have been worn very sparingly, with only minor wear to the fabric. Size on label: Size 44 Bust circumference on the tape measure: 102cm Note: This puts it at a Size 14 to 16 on the Asos size chart. Fabric content— No information on label, but quite sure it is pure cotton, possibly with a little elastane. Item has been in vacuum bag storage and will probably want to be washed prior to wearing.
