Three stitching/rivet loops on the reverse for attachment to clothing or horse tack. Material: High-carat gold (untested; typical for steppe goldwork) Condition: Ancient surface with minor rippling and edge bends; nice relief; loops present. Provenance: Alexander Cameron Abel Collection Context: Scythian elites decorated garments, quivers and bridles with small gold appliqués; the lively animal-style is a hallmark of steppe art.
