From 1940s, a smocked white wedding gown of maxi length. It has fabric covered buttons at the front and three on each wrists, all here and in excellent condition. A small lace ruffle decorates the collar followed by vertical pleats and smocks (also present near the shoulders). The skirt is built with 10 long panels of fabric sewn together and on the curved waist. It closes with one snap at the left side and has two looks for a belt. There are many small holes that would not be hard to mend - I think it is a great occasion to add laces, beads or other embellishments. There is one stain on one hole (shown) and stains on the hem of the skirt visible upon close inspection. The bust is 95cm for a waist of 76cm. The shoulders are 36cm. The length is 136cm.
