A court shape wedding ring is slightly curved on the inside and on the outside to provide a very comfortable fit. CONDITION: The inside of the shank bears a complete set of British hallmarks including the Anchor, stamped by the Assay Office of Birmingham with the '22' representing the gold purity. The 'Crown' stamp means this ring is British made and the Maker's marks 'H.A' is present which originates this ring as being made by Henry Atkin, registered in Britain in the year 1843. Atkins' were gold specialists of Howard Street, Sheffield, England. The Gold is warm and bright; the hallmarks are remain partially visible still due to a previous resizing that has been done. The band is thinning slightly due to age related wear. There are a couple of extremely light marks around the band, but overall she's remained gorgeously intact!
