A striking mid-20th-century Anatolian tribal kilim, handwoven in wool and composed of two mirrored panels stitched together, creating a bold symmetrical design. Size: 390cmx176cm. (12 ft 9 in × 5 ft 9 in). Features traditional geometric medallions, hooked motifs, and repeating rosettes in madder red, mustard, black, and ivory. Flatwoven and fully reversible. Good vintage condition with minor age-related wear. Works as a large statement rug with a good anti-slip underlay or as a sofa cover, which is what I have used it for in the past. This is a true, unique vintage piece.
