Durante l’ascolto, un disco VG può presentare rumori di superficie e qualche pop specialmente tra un brano e l’altro. I rumori però non coprono la musica. L’etichetta potrebbe presentare delle piccole scritte, adesivi o scotch. La copertina potrebbe presentare dei possibili segni dovuti all’utilizzo e al passare del tempo. E’ prevista la presenza di un ring wear dove poggia il disco. Potrebbero esserci rotture e/o strappi su tutti e tre i lati ma non devono essere eclatanti. Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as with light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached. The same will be true of picture sleeves or LP covers. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time.
