Bought directly from the museum on the Isle of Aran, Ireland. Very traditional pattern and material- off white wool, course 100% sheep’s wool. Heavy, thick, chunky, very warm. Each patch of texture represents something from the Aran islands: moss stitch is the lichen on the rocks etc. Best on a uk 10-12 I think, modelled on a 10. Hardly worn, kept in a vac-pack bag. Smoke/pet free home
