Take a trip down memory lane with this 1963 Mattel V-RROOOM! Red Indy Race Car #5. A staple of 1960s childhoods, this large-scale plastic racer features the original "V-RROOOM!" and #5 decals. The underside is embossed with the authentic 1963 Mattel "Toymakers" logo.
Condition & Wear: This car is being sold in as-is condition for parts or a restoration project. Please note that the clear plastic windshield and the steering wheel are missing. There is significant play wear throughout, including surface scuffs, scratches, and some fading/peeling to the original decals. The chrome-finished exhaust pipes show typical oxidation and loss of luster. The wheels are intact and roll, though the internal friction sound mechanism is untested. Despite the missing components, the body remains structurally sound with no major cracks, making it an excellent donor car for parts or a great "garage find" display piece for a vintage toy enthusiast.
