Sekiguchi Baby Monchhichi Bebichhichi Plush Doll Set of 2. New w/o retail tags, only tush tags when I received my online order. These adorable monkey-like plush are popular & quite sought after by collectors since the debut over 50 years ago by Sekiguchi. Monchhichi debuted the same year as Hello Kitty! Created to represent Respect & Friendship. I started my collection of these cute, kawaii, freckle-faced, thumb suckers when I was a toddler! Monchhichis have bright eyes, soft, furry plush bodies, w/soft vinyl face, feet & hands. Monchhichis are special because they're able to suck their thumb or even a binkie if they come w/one! Over the years, they've had different outfits from simple bibs to overalls, rompers to kimonos or themed costumes!
