Rockdale Union Stoneware, based in Cambridge, Wisconsin, produced high-quality, hand-thrown salt-glazed stoneware reproductions, including items featuring the iconic "star face" (or starflower) design associated with T. Harrington of Lyons, New York. Specifically, Rockdale created a miniature T. Harrington Lyons reproduction of the classic star face design on a 7 1/2" tall jar for the New York State Historical Association (NYSHA) in 1993. Handmade, salt-glazed, and hand-decorated with deep blue cobalt slip. stamps of both NYSHA and Rockdale.
Good preowned condition with no chips or cracks. Lid has slightly more salt texture glaze than body. See all photos
