It’s always surprising when you find such a well preserved doll from the past. This little cutie is still in her original packaging. It has a string for hanging but I’m not sure if it was intended for storer displaying or to hang on a Christmas tree covered with tinsel. She has on her original purple dress. Her eyes function fine and when they open she has a sideways glance like the kewpie dolls. She has on white shoes.
Time period is just a guess in my part. The eyes and style say earlier time period , yet the plastic packaging could be early 1960’s.
The plastic around the edge has caved in on spots. It’s not perfect. The doll has tiny mark on her forehead, probably from movement over time.
It is secured by a strong metal bracket in the back. She is in an oval shaped presentation box
