Vintage Haviland & Co. Limoges Richly Gilded Teacup and Saucer
This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in France by Haviland & Company Limoges between 1905 and 1930. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/4 inches. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 3 3/4 inches. The cup features a unique contoured shape. The decoration is a factory transfer design that is vibrantly hand colored. Scrolling foliage and fiery blooms are augmented with scrolled gilding. There are wide bands of thick embossed gold on the rims. There are other gilded accents and the handle is trimmed with gold. The set has unusually bright coloring and special gilding for Haviland Limoges.
Super rare design and very hard to find
