Cast iron construction with bronze and lead at seal area. With indented cast body sides. No observed maker mark. Small area of iron loss about 2" behind lever pin on right side. Seal impression with some wear, possibly from previous use. Much of the original black finish has been worn away and item has some light rust and pitting to the exposed iron. Item works but the interior spring is a bit weak - lever will not automatically return to upright position after use. Some movement play of lever to attaching pin. About 11" tall with handle in upright position and about 5-1/2" tall when handle is down. About 6-1/4" long at base and about 2-1/4" wide at base. Makes a seal impression that is about 1-3/4" in diameter. Item weighs about 5 pounds 2-1/2 ounces.
