⭐︎New⭐︎ British Army Body Armor Vest Desert DPM Camo Deadstock

I purchased this new at a shop in Kyoto's Kyogoku district. I'm selling it because my son doesn't seem likely to wear it.

This is a genuine British Army body armor vest, known as ECBA in the British Army.
ECBA stands for Enhanced Combat Body Armour (British English), and it was adopted by the entire British Army in the early 1990s, replacing the previous flak vests like the M1952 and M1969. Although the new OSPREY series was adopted in the 2000s, the ECBA continued to be produced and used due to its lower cost compared to the OSPREY series.
The desert DPM camouflage ECBA was used in the first-generation model during the 1991 Gulf War, and the second-generation model was used in the 2000s during the Iraq War and the Afghanistan conflict. Subsequently, the new MTP camouflage was introduced in the 2000s and 2010s.

The front and pockets can be opened and closed with Velcro, and the width can be adjusted with Velcro on both sides. The pockets are large and have wide openings, making them very easy to use, as they were used to insert bulletproof plates. The zippers inside the vest were used to insert soft armor for anti-stab and anti-fragmentation protection. There are also epaulettes on the chest for attaching rank insignia tabs.
