We sometimes make prototypes as we're figuring out new designs, clear out old inventory or have items that don't quite meet our high quality standards and get deemed as 'seconds'. They're all great, functioning items but since they don't meet our finished product specs you can snag them at a seriously discounted price.
These pale pink herringbone couches are discounted because the green color of the foam used on the seat cushion is somewhat visible through the fabric. We noticed it and so are selling them on discount. However with dolls sitting on the couch, it's not likely to be noticeable.
