Vtg. Italian art pottery vase; pushed in design; orange and brown glaze.

The item is sold as is, as found and as you see it. The vase has a puched in the middle buckle like design with an exterior incised design. A horizontal band like design that wraps arund. Bumpy surface inside with oranges and some browns muted in interior. The exterior is a brown applied glaze where you can see the underlying orange; especially incised design areas. The incised design is vertical etched lines and ovals. Underside is a reddish clay. Cool piece. Good condition with no chips/cracks. A few white paint drip spots on exterior. The underside has dirt and glossy coating with pottery clumps and shelf wear. May have subtle white coloring in the glaze; made that way. Spots dots lumps and bumps in the pottery, glaze flaws; made that way. Measures 7 7/8" X 4.25" X 4.5". Opening is 7.75" varied between 3.5" X 1 7/8".
