For your consideration is this pair of Adorable stoneware kittens. Figurines such as these are quite fashionable inside cloche bell jars on top of a little bit of greenery. These two look like they are ready for full on play. The sitting kitten is marked with an incised "A". This mark has been found on various other Chinese Ceramics from the 1970s I've previously sold. I have been unable to link that mark to any particular maker. Sizes:
* Standing Kitten: 2.94" L x 1.64" W x 2.77" H
* Sitting Kitten: 2.32: L x 1.79" W x 2.66" H
The kittens are heavily glazed in exception of the black tails and the blue underneath the eyes. These two features were painted on top of the glaze. Common with this technique is often a loss of finish...these have a little finish loss, but nothing to detract from their splendor.
