Antique Southern Art Handmade Bottlecap Basket. I found this basket in an old Dr. office building in Tennessee that belonged to my great grandfather. The handle and walls of the basket are made of bottle caps that have been strung together with a very thick wire. The bottom of the basket appears to be the lid or bottom of some type of metal can. There is some rust and it’s dusty. The buyer can clean this as I do not want to damage it in the process. The basket has an inside diameter of about 7”. The height of the basket not including the handle is 4”. The height with the handle is about 8”. This is a pretty cool decor piece possibly from the 1940s.
