Uncommon and unique specimen of Rams Horn Selenite and calcite crystal cluster from the Guizhou Province in China. A fully natural, high quality formation featuring a curved cluster of thick bladed druzy sparkling white gypsum selenite. At the end of the selenite curve is a cluster of lustrous creamy calcite crystals that almost resemble flower petals in a starburst rosette formation. The calcites have a mix of crystal habits - dogtooth and almost botryoidal shaped. This shimmery specimen is highly aesthetic and shows beautifully in multiple directions. The crystals are UV fluorescent as well. Great collector’s grade display specimen at about 2.8 x 2 x 1.5 inches.
