Really pretty snow globe that is lively with vibrant colors. This is the Spring snow globe out of a 4-part series 'Four Seasons Water globe Series' by the San Francisco Music Box Company. It plays music as well with a windup crank on the bottom of the base. The music sounds fine but there is some muffled creaking that occurs while the music plays. The music plays quite a bit louder than the creaking noise so it should be fine and it does somewhat add to the charm of a wind up music box. There are some minor chips around the base with one of the flowers missing a petal. Nothing glaring. And it looks as though it's lost a small amount of water overtime (doesn't leak, likely due to age- it's from 1992).
Still a lovely piece to have on a bookshelf or anywhere. One of those things that just made me happy but I am trying to downsize so I have to let stuff go.
