Vintage Fratelli Alinari wood gold gilt hinged box, made in Italy, measures 12” x 6-1/2” x 2-1/2”. The outer box has a lovely mosaic-like look, while the sides and bottom are painted gold. The interior is a beautiful glossy brown. Fratelli Alinari sticker affixed on inside of lid.
The outer edges of the box have some scuffing and gold paint loss. The gold painted bottom also has several areas of paint loss at the edges. Minor scuffs on interior edges of the box and lid. Please see photos which show all scuffing and paint loss on exterior and interior of the box.
