At first glance—due mainly to my less-than-fabulous photography skills—this might feel like any other floral brooch from the 1960s-70s, but don’t be fooled. Some pieces stand out as ART, (imo).
Clearly, this luscious 3D Magnolia (enamel-over-metal) brooch in lime-green, white, & lemon-yellow would make a great addition to a jewelry collection … but can you picture it displayed with a few other favs in a shadow box? …Or even framed individually & hung alongside other pieces to create an unexpected & truly magical focal point on a bedroom or bathroom wall…?

Sarah Coventry made such high quality jewelry items, we’re not too surprised to find 57-yo pieces (as of 2024) in this kind of condition, with little to no wear. The enamel’s still beautifully intact & the original clasp remains secure.
