Condition: Fair used condition. Notable wear on edges and surface, visible holes and fraying as shown in photos. Staining and discoloration on inside band and lining. Minor general fading from age and use throughout.
Classic navy blue wool garrison cap with gold embroidery and piping
Front features detailed embroidered American Legion crest/logo and “KANSAS” text
Side embroidered with gold star and “30” along with “78” for Legion Post number
Inside band is genuine leather and stamped: “EMBLEM DIV. NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS THE AMERICAN LEGION, INDIANAPOLIS, IND.”
Original size sticker inside reads 7 1/4
Interior lining is tan satin, with handwritten “MYERS” name visible
Believed to date mid 20th century or earlier—true vintage veterans’ memorabilia
