This vintage Tea Cup is in excellent shape, the cup itself is 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in diameter with lovely scalloped gold gilded edges, the height is 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm). The colour of the apricot roses, leaves, and thorns are unmarred, and appear clear and brilliant. There are three 'bubbles' under the glaze just above the ornate cup handle. The bottom of the cup clearly shows the Bone China Colclough marking noting the pattern number as 7983
The saucer too with its scalloped gold gilded edge, is in good condition, measuring approximately 5 1/2 inch in diameter (13.97 cm), with the roses displayed in clear and excellent colour, and the bottom of the saucer also clearly displaying the Bone China Colclough mark.
There are no chips, cracks, crazing, or yellowing.
