The image of Marquis de Lafayette & Benjamin Franklin with Congressional messages at Hotel Valentine. As you may know Franklin was the American Minister to France. He played a key role in the alliance of France and America during the American Revolution. Back of plate features detailed description in French. Plate measures 8 5/8". Great condition. No chips, cracks or wear.
