Wonderful vintage jug (or vase) dated as being painted in 1979 but the greenware itself more than likely dates from the late 1960’s to 1970. It has a cool boho vibe and could be used as display, or for dry flowers or insert a clear vase inside for fresh flowers. No large chips or breaks however it appears that the pottery company didn’t fire it correctly so there are a few internal temperature cracks which do NOT show on the outside of the jug ( vase).
I had it on a bookshelf so I don’t know if it could hold any liquid but certainly with a bud vase inside it, it could hold water for fresh flowers. Selling well below my cost to compensate for the extra effort required to use it as a vase. I have located two on line, one for $199, and another for $49.00 which was what I had bought mine for. I am offering it for half price at only $25.00 due to the issue.
