Vintage Clear Lucite Gold faux Pearl Seashell Hair Clip Mermaid Gift

I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anything quite like this adorable little hair clip! This is Lucite or some sort of vintage plastic shaped to form a seashell, and there are several gold flecks embedded into the piece. I believe it is genuine 24 karat gold but there’s no way of knowing for certain. The clip is made for hair, but could also work as a tie clip if someone wanted to support a funky style. There is a little gold colored star and two full pearls on top of the piece, giving it a 3-D effect and that extra little touch of elegance. Such a fun piece!
