Vintage 1968 CAVALIER Magazine (“Show Biz Goes to Campus” Issue), featuring a short story by William S. Burroughs:
•”The Perfect Servant” ... an odd yet somehow currently relevant tale of a disguised Doctor Fu Manchu who is involved in the unleashing of a devastating “virus rover” in the Pentagon that ends up crippling America. This short story was later published in Burroughs’ 1973 book Exterminator!
• This scarce “Men’s Interest” magazine is in very good good condition, with some minor scuffing on the covers and edge/spine wear. It is intact, and has no writing or highlighting, stamps or stickers. There is a slight musty scent from garage storage, but it should air out nicely (maybe with the help of a drier sheet or two)... an attractive and collectible copy!
— also includes articles by Paul Krassner & Bert Wolfe (re: Grace Slick), 2 pictorials including French director Roger “Vadim’s Girls”, & a ROBERT CRUMB Fritz the Cat cartoon.
