For your consideration is this lovely vintage fishbowl ornaments made in Japan most likely during the 1950s. The figurine is of a Chinese boy playing a traditional pipa lute while standing on a grassy knoll in front of a Pagoda. A lustrous glaze has been applied over vibrant colors. Sadly, there are a few chips on the piece; however, they don't seem to detract from the item's splendor. The bottom still has a portion of the original blue "Made in Japan" sticker. It measures 3.57 inches long x 2.15 inches wide x 6.5 inches tall. There are three holes in the piece to dissuade trapped air.
