Beautiful, almost 140 year old Early American Pressed Glass Challinor Taylor and Company Milk Glass OW (open work) Plate. This company was only in business from 1884 - 1891. A grape vine with fruit and leaves design is featured on the front, a diamond point design around a circular center enhances the bottom of the plate. The plate is in good condition considering its age, some light wear on the pattern (gentle hand wash with a soft cloth is recommended). There are a few lines visible when held up to the light (may be from the manufacturing process and one mark that may be a slight scratch on the front of the plate. The open work is in fine condition - please see all photos for condition. Measures approximately 10.5” diameter.
