1980s Chinese Handcrafted Marquetry Inlaid Bamboo Mother Of Pearl Trinket Boxes. Set of 2 boxes features beautifully carved Mother of Pearl Bird atop hand painted bamboo boxes. Opens to a red cloth lining, possibly silk, compartment for jewelry or trinkets. Smaller box has no lined bottom and nestles inside larger box for storage. Another collectible item from my Fabulous Estate Sale Finds which is part of thousands of Hard To Find Mid Century Modern old new stock acquired from inventory liquidation of an old variety store warehouse closed over 25 years ago. Individually hand crafted so no two alike and sizes and color are approximate. As with any hand-crafted item, imperfections are highly possible. Item itself is new however it or its Packaging may have dust/oxidation/soil/tear/other damage. Sticker may have come off.
