Beautiful 1930s sterling silver brooch. Design is simple but it is this simplicity that makes the brooch so beautiful. The sleek oblong shape features two rows of marcasites against mother of pearl and a shiny black enamel or onyx gemstone background. The overall condition is very good vintage.
Possibly a mourning piece?
The roll over clasp functions very well.
Brooch is marked 925 TH with what looks like an infinity symbol and weighs 6.2 grams. Dimensions are 2 1/8” long by 3/8”.
