For years, French textile company Malhia Kent has created fabrics for some of the most coveted designers’ ready-to-wear and couture collections—think YSL and Proenza Schouler. And now they’re adding an unexpected name to their client list: 7 for All Mankind. The mill and the jeans brand have collaborated on a capsule line of luxury denim pieces. “Malhia Kent used to provide 100 percent of Chanel’s fabrics," says 7’s Women’s Senior Designer Jennifer Garcia, “but their work has never been mixed with denim."
