Vintage Satsuma MUSICAL Trinket Box Peacock and Floral Design Japan. This is older and has some wear that just comes with age. The white undercoat is starting to crack- this is seen on all exposed part of the white part of this trinket box. This cracking is not seen on the lid or side of the box with the painted on extra detail just on the white parts. PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES. You get 2 pieces. (1) The lid which has the musical component/box inside the lid and then (2) the dish/base. Song played is unknown. Beautiful trinket box with an amazing and unique design and detail. So many beautiful colors (gold, red, pink, green, white, rust red/orange and black). The bottom says, SATSUMA Expressly produced for Heritage Mint, LTD.L . A.CA JAPAN. Trinket dish is 3.5" in diameter. Trinket Dish Depth is 1.5" without lid. Trinket Dish Depth is about 1.75 or close to 2" with lid on.
