Original 1950's classic silk dress by GiGi Young. GiGi Young was a sister label to Suzy Perette and was active from the early fifties to 1966. This beautiful sleeveless has a fitted bodice, boat neck and full skirt. Darts at the front and back bodice. The fabric is silk with a turquoise, blue and white floral pattern. Fully lined and with a stiffer material on the underskirt part to give the dress the classic 50's look. Long concealed zip at the back and delicate piping around the neckline. Waist 26 inches, chest 35 inches There is a little discolouration on the inside of the armholes due to the age of the dress but not visible from the outside. Fantastic condition considering this dress is around 70 years old.
