You can start wearing it when you're pregnant in the last few months, then continue when the baby is born en wear it as a regular coat when your child has outgrown the carrier. I've really enjoyed this coat, I'd say it's definitely worth the money when you take your baby outside in a carrier all the time. I've used it for one child only, so it's still in very good condition!
