Mid-century Brown Pigskin Travel Vanity Case

A genuine mid-20th century vanity travel or jewellery case in real pigskin leather, stamped “Made in England”. The case features: Warm tan/brown pigskin leather with natural grain Original brass clasp stamped MOMA, in working order Neat stitching and rounded corners Personalised gilt initials (J.A.V.) on the lid Interior yellow with Pigskin holder Pigskin was prized in the 1940s–1960s for its durability, distinctive texture, and lighter weight compared to cowhide. This piece is a fine example of English leather craftsmanship of the period. Good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. Light scuffs on corners.
