Custom Unique Boot/Sole Combo Dr Martens Vintage Worn In

These are my husband's size 9 Dr Marten 1460 black leather boots. They were made circa 2007 from Brassington Bros in Staffordshire. They're made of softer gauge leather than standard to help wearing in, and originally came with standard DMS sole. Of note, they have the Dr Martens embossed logo on the sides, which isn't present on newer DM's. My husband wore them throughout his nursing career until the soles wore through and they were retired. In July 2025 had these resoled by the Official DM Repair service, in Smoke colour Bex soles. After wearing them for a day at work however he found that he dis not prefer the added height the Bex soles bring with them. We have therefore decided to pass them on to their next loving owners. These are incredibly soft leathered, comfortable boots: the leather uppers are about as "broken-in" as you could possibly hope for. The sole is fresh and without wear and tear having only been worn for 1 day, indoors. Aside from the soles they do reflect the fact that they're 18 year old shoes; they have scratches, scuffs, chipped eyelets, with the expected wear and tear on the insides. I have tried to show as much as possible with the photographs. They are priced to reflect their vintage, potentially collectable, and incredibly comfortable nature.
