Very ornate vintage pedestal hinged jewelry trinket box. It is lined in purple velvet. The metal has colors of both silver and gold on the outside so I am not sure if it is brass. It has a lot of dark discoloration and would benefit from a good cleaning. I was unsure of what metal cleaner to use. The velvet is in good condition and the hinges work well. It appears to have a makers mark on the bottom but I am unable to read it.
