This beautiful antique piece looks like a silver forged pattern with etched trim measures 2 3/4” just the comb portion but overall measures approx 3 1/4” with bale. Bale is a little larger than 1/4”. The end or top of the bale has capital letters stamped JEM in an oval. It has a place to be engraved on front but was not done. The bomb folds open and closed easily and it appears a tooth of the comb may have broke out. Please see picture. Would make great collector piece or lover of all things antique. Antique jewelry collectors. It is not magnetic but don’t see any other markings on it.
