Retro 1940's "Lustern" (Louis Stern-USA) Choker Necklace set in a substantial Silver Rhodium Plated Metal.
The necklace has multiple blue & clear rhinestones that look amazing
There is a central decorative scroll pendant with open work.Also, asymmetrical/abstract metalwork + a Retro flowing design.It is adorned with faceted,foil backed,prong set beautiful blue marquis & clear round rhinestones. These rhinestones really enhance the design & beauty of this retro piece! They are situated upfront,center and encircling the scroll pendant.
There are multiple round rings on each side of the central pendant+ a thick curb link chain.The necklace has a fold over clasp with the makers mark LUSTERN on the backside.
The design reflects a Retro style-characterized by the geometric shapes and intricate details.Its a really pretty interesting piece of jewelry.It is a rather rare piece.I have only seen 1 other! It’s in great condition+in style 60+years later!
