Rare Vintage handmade clay/pottery/ceramic nativity set of 4. Joseph, Mary, Baby Jesus and Angel. These pieces are so well done with expressive faces and flowing robes. The faces and hands are finished in a bisque-like color, while the remaining details are painted in rich, muted tones with a glossy finish. Unique and rare cut-out pierced design which adds an ethereal feel and contributes to the uniqueness. Joseph only stamped. Artist mark unreadable. Glazed and hand-painted in parts with beautiful irregularities. The pieces range in height:
