The book is repurposed Knights of Columbus Secretary Treasurer's accounting book. Note:The last 9 pages are receipts with the date "18" hundred!
About half of the book is glued cut out recipes. I think cut out of newspapers from the dates about 1928-29, according to the political cartoons and other articles with dates, from Buffalo Evening News.
The articles, cartoons and local gossip and obits are not glued in. and in good, readable condition. (I lost time, reading them. Interesting to see the style and topics, even without knowing one person! One long article is about the Peace Bridge, several regard the politics and even the recipes are fun to read!)
The binding of the book, while still intact, is fragile, at best. The total weight is almost 3 pounds!
