gorgeous 800 silver and gold wash filigree Asian fan.
This was a brooch pin but unfortunately the pin back is broken. I made it into a necklace by inverting it and sliding a chain through the handle. The chain is 925 sterling and is 18" long. All the filigree is handcrafted and done in delicate swirling patterns and finished off with flowers.
The bar on the back of the pin is marked 800 along side of the maker's mark (which I cannot read.)
I would imagine you could have a new pin back put on at your local jewelry store if you wanted to wear it as a pin but otherwise it looks very nice and unique as a necklace. I've seen similar fans selling for $30-$50 for just the pin.
