Antique majolica water lily or lotus plate made by Georg Schmider in Zell Baden Germany, late 19th century through the 1920's. It measures 8.5" across, raises about .5" up at the edges, and has raised relief pattern of four flowers in white and cream with green and brown leaves, and nicely detailed ripples of water in the blue pond. The plate is marked with the GS Zell Baden logo and number 2474 and a number 23 impressed. It is in very good to excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Displays beautifully. It is not an uncommon pattern, but it is very hard to find in this condition!
